Puglets are one of my favorite breeds to photograph. I love their adorable quirks and expressions. You have to admit, every time you see a pug a smile comes across your face, right?! Tyson & Percy are Alicia’s little babies. Both were rescued in the prime of their life. They are so blessed to have such an amazing mom. When I asked Alicia what I should bring as special treats for her pups I couldn’t believe her reply…”they are crazy about apples”. Sure enough I could easily entice them to prance away from all the exciting smells and sites of the park with little apple slices. We had loads of fun romping around a little park in Atlanta.
Alicia…you are gorgeous.
This shoot was easy peasy. I didn’t have to do any fancy major photoshop reconstruction. One thing that is difficult about season change is that light falls much faster. Instead of shooting in the evening you have to shoot mid-afternoon…then before you know it the sun is setting at 5pm! Drives me nuts. Since Ryan and i travel sooooooOOooOo much things get misplaced…things like my reflector. This shoot would have really been a great one to use a reflector because of the clouds and falling light. I’m not a huge reflector user. It gets really annoying to carry around and the wind likes to blow them away. You really need a second hand when using reflectors. The shot below would have really benefited from using the white side of the reflector. It would have saved me time in photoshop. In the end the edit was easy as pie. Just a bit of dodging and exposure push.
Very subtle difference in the two photographs below. Color bump and exposure bump.
